Security Guard vs Door Supervisor – What’s the difference?

A Security Guard licence allows you to work in various security roles but does not permit you to work in licensed premises, such as pubs and nightclubs.

A Door Supervisor licence includes all the training of the Security Guard course plus an additional unit on physical intervention, allowing you to work in more roles. Because of this, we highly recommend the Door Supervision course over Security Guarding for greater job opportunities.
